Ron Fittes has been a Shelby County resident for 44 years and a resident of Germantown for approximately 37 years, graduated from Germantown High School and then Memphis State University with a major in Criminal Justice.
Ron went to work at the Memphis Police Department in 1978 and worked his way to the rank of Major and retired in December 2011 after nearly 34 years of service.
Ron is an active member of the Al Chymia Shrine, Germantown Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Germantown, Variety Children's Charity Club of Memphis and has been a member of Germantown United Methodist church for over 40 years. Ron has also served on the Germantown Athletic Club Commission the past three years.
Ron and his wife Sherry have been married for 33 years and have three grown sons. Ron is running for Shelby County Commission district 4 position.
